V6 Robot Vacuum User Guide

I. Unboxing

The product package includes a robot vacuum (with a dustbin pre-installed) and a base station (with a clean water tank and wastewater tank pre-installed). Additionally, an accessory box is included.

(Friendly reminder: A pair of mop pads are pre-installed on the mopping module at the factory. The cleaning hook tool is located on the side of the robotic vacuum, accessible after removing the dustbin.)

II. Network Configuration

After connecting the robotic vacuum to Wi-Fi, you can access more features in the app, such as custom cleaning schedules, no-go zones, and room merging/splitting, helping the vacuum clean your home more efficiently.

  • Your phone is connected to your home Wi-Fi.

2. Select Your Wi-Fi Network and Enter the Password

  • After entering the password, tap the eye icon to confirm accuracy, then click Next.
  • (Note: The robotic vacuum does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. Please use a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for setup.)

3. Put the Vacuum into Network Setup Mode

  • Place the vacuum inside the base station.
  • Press the Settings button on the base station and select Network Settings.

4. Manually Connect to the “narwal” Network

  • After connecting successfully, return to the app.

5. Start the Network Configuration Process

  • Wait for the connection to complete.

III. Preparation Before Use

1. Check the Cleaning Environment

  • Before cleaning, remove obstacles such as wires, clothing, and magazines to prevent entanglement or malfunctions.
  • Set up no-go zones for low furniture where the vacuum may get stuck.
  • The vacuum can climb obstacles up to 20mm high. If a threshold exceeds this, the vacuum cannot enter.
  • For carpets, delicate items, or restricted areas, set up no-go zones or virtual walls.
  • If using on an upper floor, ensure safety barriers or virtual walls are in place.

2. Installing and Removing Components

  • Install the sweeping module: Align the two clips at the bottom with the slots and press down.
  • Remove the sweeping module: Lift the cover latch and take it out.
  • Install the mopping module: Attach the mop pads, align the installation port, and rotate until secured.
  • Remove the mopping module: Hold the handle and lift upwards.
  • Install the dustbin: Align the dustbin grooves and press down until it locks in place.
  • Remove the dustbin: Pull up the dustbin handle and lift it out.
  • Install the clean/wastewater tanks:
    • Place the clean water tank on the right side of the base station.
    • Place the wastewater tank on the left side of the base station.
  • Remove the clean/wastewater tanks: Open the base station cover and take them out.

3. Placing the Base Station

  • Place the base station against a wall, with at least 50cm of space on each side and 100cm of clear space in front.

4. Connecting the Base Station to Power

  • Take the power cord from the accessory box, insert it into the power port on the back of the base station, and plug it into an outlet. (Ensure the plug is secure to avoid power issues.)

IV. First-Time Use Recommendations

1. Start with Sweeping Mode

  • Install the sweeping module, place the vacuum on the floor, and long-press the Confirm/Start button for 2 seconds to power on.

2. Recall the Vacuum to the Base and Start Cleaning

  • Short-press the Recall/Exit button on the base station to summon the vacuum.
  • Select Sweeping Mode, then press the Confirm/Start button to begin cleaning. (If manually placing the vacuum into the base, ensure its button side faces the base.)

3. Precautions During First Use

  • Avoid following the vacuum or standing in doorways, as this may cause mapping errors.
  • It is recommended to use the sweeping mode to build the home map.

4. Room Mapping Completion

  • Do not move the base station after mapping is complete, or you will need to remap the area.
  • If large objects in the cleaning area are rearranged, remap the area for better accuracy.

5. Start Mopping Mode

  • After sweeping, switch to the mopping module, fill the clean water tank, select a cleaning mode, and begin mopping.

V. Mapping

1. Power On and Place the Vacuum in the Base

  • Open the vacuum’s top cover and press and hold the power button to turn it on.
  • Short-press the left button on the base station to recall the vacuum.

3. Enter Mapping Mode

  • Long-press the Settings button on the base station.
  • Select Mapping Mode and start the process.

4. Mapping Guidelines

  • Do not block, stand in front of, or follow the vacuum during mapping, as this may result in an incomplete map.

5. Automatic Room Mapping Completion

  • After scanning, the vacuum will automatically generate a home map and return to the base.
  • Do not move the base station after mapping; otherwise, remapping will be required.
  • If large furniture positions change, remap the area.
